Aerial Yoga Hammock + 2 point rigging set
Aerial silks designed to be hung as hammocks for use in aerial yoga.
A package that includes the yoga hammock and accessories from hanging the aerial yoga hammock from a two-point attachment point. A hanger bracket or other similar attachment point must be ordered separately.
This pack contains 1x Firetoys aerial yoga silk hammock (choose colour above) with two stainless steel rings attached, 4x steel oval carabiners and 2 x SML Dyneema loop chains, 40 cm. All components of this set are professionally strength tested and come with Working Load (WLL) or Breaking Load Limits (BLL). Watch out for equipment that does not state WLL or BLL as they may not be safe.
Our hammocks are specially designed for aerial yoga. They are shorter and wider than normal aerial silks, measuring 6 m x 2,8 m. Yoga hammocks are used to support your body weight allowing you to achieve deep stretches and other yoga postures in a more relaxing way with a reduced chance of injury. Aerial yoga hammocks also help to develop core strength and to decompress the spine.
This set is designed to be rigged from 2 anchor points. This type of rig, as opposed to a single point set up, gives you more room to move and is arguably easier to control and use. Downsides include being harder to rig (you need two points) and they are far more awkward to make spin using a swivel. This is why many hammock performers prefer the one-point version. However, for aerial yoga use, which set up you choose will come down to personal preference to a great extent.
The hammocks exceed all required safety standards. Only the best and most comfortable materials are used and the hammocks are fully tested. These hammocks have a working load limit of 172kg (379lbs).
The included Daisy Chains are 40 cm long and made of strong 15 mm thick nylon. Daisy Chain allows quick and safe air yoga silk height adjustment. Unlike many other Daisy Chains on the market, these loops are rated to withstand a minimum breaking strength of 23kN and are very strong.
Comes with four self-locking locking rings (breaking strength 25kN) that are durable and versatile. They have a secure gate locking mechanism and wide opening of 15 mm.
