A beautiful-sounding drum played with rubber-tipped sticks. The tongue drum is well suited for yoga classes, sound therapy or home use. Hapi Drum is also great for a beginner, as you don’t need to know how to play to produce a beautiful relaxing melodic sound.
The Hapi Drum is a hand drum made of metal. The tongue drum has a long-lasting, warm and bell-like sound. The sphere-like shape provides round, harmonious vibrations. Hapi stands for a hand-activated percussion instrument. Similar to the lotus drum, hang drum or steel drum, it is played with the hands.
The Hapi drum is held in the lap and struck with the fingers or palms. Alternatively, it can also be played with the included mallets. In this case, it is placed on the floor or a hard surface with rubber feet. The sound is much stronger and more percussive when played with the mallets.
